G-Dragon is a Free Man

Free to continue to grind up on ladies on stage.

Big Bang’s gone solo leader G-Dragon was under criminal investigation for public display of inappropriate behavior and violation of the Youth Protection Act, for his performance at his “Shine a Light” concert from December of last year.

On March 16th, G-Dragon was cleared of all charges.

Though the album got the +19 warning for the songs “Korean Dream” and “She’s Gone,” the concert was still cleared for the young ones, including the complete song listing. This means, everything was legal schmegal.

Next, the “bed scene” and “murder scene” in question were cleared due to artistic license, basically. Since it was just to add drama to the song and wasn’t especially just to bump and grind for fun, the performances got the “okay,” too.

The Big Bang leader didn’t get off scotch free, the police fined G-Dragon 3,000,000 won ($2,650 US) for pushing the wrong buttons.

Unedited versions of the concert DVD, however, will be sold with the +19 sticker, so basically this is a slap on the wrist for YG Entertainment.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say, G-Dragon was never really that worried about the charges in the first place, but it’s good for him!
